Do I need to bring a headshot and a dance photo for my audition? *Walk-In Dancers: Please bring a headshot and dance photo with you to the audition. *Online Pre- Registered Dancer: Digital photos are required at the time of registration for all students.
What is the price of an audition ? In Person: *25 euro ( Pre-Registration ) *30 euro ( Walk -In ) Virtual : *25 euro
Should I pre-register for the audition? *Pre- Registration is highly encouraged. If you pre-register you receive a discount on the audition fee, it guarantees your spot in the audition and allows you to move more quickly through the check-in process.
What is the dress code for the Auditions? *In- Person and Virtual: Female students auditioning for the Junior Company should wear a black leotard, pink/ skin tone tights and pink/ skin tone ballet slippers. Students en pointe should bring their pointe shoes. Hair should be off the face and secured in a bun. Boys wear black tights, black or white ballet slippers and a black or white fitted t- shirt.
How long is an audition? *The auditions will be 3 hours in length
Zoom Technology Requirements and Questions: *Each student will receive a Zoom Meeting Link, ID and Password when they register for the audition. Meeting Link, ID and Password can be found in dancer confirmation emails. Students can access their audition by clicking on the Zoom Meeting link and following the prompts or by logging into the Zoom application and manually entering the Zoom Meeting ID and Password. *Please sign in to your Zoom audition no earlier than 30 minutes prior to audition start time. It is recommended you sign in a minimum of 10 minutes prior to the start of the audition. Dancers who arrive late will not be allowed to participate. *Recommendations for optimal viewing *It is recommended that all dancers download Zoom as an application on their computer or phone, instead of using a web browse. *Light your space to be bright, avoiding a singular, dim light or sources that can shift. Back lighting, especially from natural sources, makes it difficult for students and instructors to see each other, Try to use light that covers your face and brightens your space, avoiding shadows and glares. *All viewers are automatically muted when they enter an audition class, Students must re- mute themselves after speaking, The background noise severely impacts everyone’s ability to hear the instructor.
When does Online Pre- Registration Close?. *In- Person Auditions: Cut – off time for Online Pre- Registration is 1pm for all in- person auditions the day before the audition. Dancers who miss this deadline can proceed to register as a Walk-In. Please arrive at the registration Check- In time. *Virtual Auditions: Cut off time is 1 hour prior to the start of the Virtual Audition Check- In Time.
Audition Refund Policy All Audition Fees are 100% Non – Refundable. If Y.O.U Con. temporary Ballet Company cancels the audition, a full refund will be issued. All sales are final.
